My name is Alistair Lonsdale and I am the Director of Coerver Coaching Connecticut. I have been developing youth soccer players from all over the state for the past 19 years. Many of my players are currently playing at an elite level, at top college programs or have graduated from college programs.
I am passionate about what I do and demand the highest level of performance and standards from myself and staff. Over the last 19 years my main focus has been development of female players from 5-15 years old. Over this time and during my professional development I have found that the Coerver Coaching method is by far the best system of developing young players. Every year I reflect and think about how we can improve and with Coerver we have the answer – we are the leader and number one skills coaching method in the world. We are also globally youth sponsored by Gatorade and Adidas.
Coerver Coaching is widely known as a world leader in skills coaching and works with millions of players all over the globe. We are currently in over 45 different countries and work with professional clubs and governing bodies every day. Our approach is to focus on individual ball mastery, moves, 1v1 attack and defense, speed, finishing and group attack. Our system is designed to produce the most skillful players that are also exciting to watch.
We offer coaching courses and train Academy coaches at professional clubs across the world in the Coerver method. The method is based around the Coerver Pyramid of Development. ve the answer – we are the leader and number one skills coaching method in the world. We are also globally youth sponsored by Gatorade and Adidas.
·Currently have 10 members of staff (we will provide as many staff as you require and can bring in other Coerver area coaches as needed)
·All coaches have played professionally, semi-professionally or graduated college level
·All coaches have various qualifications USSF or NSCAA
·All coaches qualified in the Coerver methodology, hold Coerver licenses and receive extensive internal Coerver training to ensure quality of coaching
·50% female / 50% male staff - A great blend of young and older seasoned coaches
·Coaching model is using US based staff with status – Green Card, Permanent Residents or US Citizens. Currently, we have no coaches that require visas. We only bring in coaches on international work visas if they are of exceptional ability and will enhance the program
·Coerver Coaching screens all staff using research services for background checks
·Coerver Coaches are very highly trained in the Coerver Methodology. Many other programs have taken parts of our curriculum and added it. We are the original pathfinders and set the standards for all others to follow. We care deeply about the standard of our staff and conduct regular staff training and keep up to speed with all aspects of the game.
